WELCOME TO JUKAWI’S WORLD
My name is Julia Karin Wieland and I’m a multidisciplinary Creative Director based in Germany. Being driven by endless curiosity and creativity, I knew from a very young age that my purpose in life exists of accumulating as much information and knowledge as possible to then share it with and inspire people worldwide.
Communication is the key to life, Design is one of the tools, so helping people expressing themselves in the most confident way, was the first step I took in this direction. After graduating from the international French Fashion School ESMOD in 2012, my goal to explore the beauty of New York City was set.
Having learned from and worked side by side with some incredibly talented Designers like Zam Barrett or Kerby Jean-Raymond for Pyer Moss, NYC shaped me immensely. It taught me new values, discipline, dedication, confidence, the essence and power of different cultures.
With a whole new perspective of our world I started another endeavor back in Germany in 2017. The creative agency Explain allowed me to level-up my skill set focusing on Graphic Design, Brand Design, Concept Creation and the art to present. For 5 years I was able to build a stunning client portfolio - Stars and Stripes. Working with several German luxury automotive brands, Germany’s biggest sportswear manufacturer, the international brand most known for their energy drink and many more, I was able to feed my passion for knowledge.
In 2022 I decided to branch out solo as Creative Director. My purpose is to help people and brands, understanding the present in order to create an impactful vision, that will shape our future in a positive way.
